The 4th of February 2024 was a Historic Sabbath Service - in the coastal town of Gede (or Gedi) famous for Watamu Beach and the historic Gedi ruins. On this day new church premises were formally launched. The complex includes residences for church sisters, and separate accommodation for other cadres. It has room for expansion and continuous enhancement. This church has been the site of a lot of breakthrough prayers and liberation from demonic forces. Those healed included those who had been mentally challenged or had come bound in shackles. Gede is a place of serious prayer.
It has been so because of the sisters who regularly retreat there for outreach and believers who sacrifice to go there on duty shifts as well as the local church. Not to be forgotten are those who have supported in cash or in kind. As a result there has been a lot of outreach and prospective churches in the coast. Importantly, it reminds of a prophecy of Baba Johane that there would be a major church in Kenya's coast (Mombasa). Gede is outside Mombasa Island but by grace of God it is spearheading evangelical work all over the coastal counties.
