Good evening all readers, hopefully you all had a great week, and the Sabbath just ending (depending on where you are). Today’s message will be brief – not by choice but by circumstances. It is a continuation but also intended to remind our readers that the days nothing was posted for years or months have ended. There was also the pending post about the first Kenyan pastor but that will come. Nothing has been forgotten. Going by some scheduled activities, the prospect or more news items in the coming days is also alive – but let us not pre-empt. Those who continue to log in from time will always be updated.
Speaking of circumstances, at times it gets busy. In addition, Gospel of God was not set up with a career clergy – meaning that servants such as pastors also work for a living. It gets a little trickier with employment, the reason why apostles from the onset were encouraged to do business – in order to be better able to manage their time. More like the apostle Paul also made tents (Acts 18:1-4).
Having discussed color and appearance in the previous post, it is time to touch on symbols and imagery– a broad topic which will only be touched on but it helps to start. Let us begin by asking: What would the sun, moon and stars mean – spiritually speaking? The sun is the superior light that lights up everything including the moon. The stars give out a little light at night – but they have their own light. Let us not into science where one would argue that even the sun is a star and there are other moons around other planets and that some stars are far bigger than the sun. As far as an earthling is concerned the sun is the dominant light. The big light. Consequently, in the spiritual realm it would be comparable to the father, given that the stars represent the sons of God – or angels. That is how John of Patmos saw it (Revelations: 1:20) and elsewhere where angels were represented by stars.
The meanings are the same today – so that when a prophet or teacher says they saw a star slowly approaching, and calls for prayers to accelerate its approach, the meaning should be clear –even without further explanation. There was a woman in western Kenya, who spoke of having seen a printed paper emerging from a printer with stars and other writings – the meaning was still the same. Yet, this was a random dream from random person though a Christian – but happened to ask because she believed that the dream was significant, and thought that apostles would know. This should also tell us how some of the messages in a dream are coded in a very subtle manner – such that one may at times not separate them from day-to-day occurrences. Joseph son of Jacob saw the sun, moon, and stars bow down to him – yet those were his family (Genesis 37:9). Still as a parallel, the stars were his brothers and the sun was his father. Just like the sun and moon can also represent God and the angels (or sons of God). By the way in another dream, one saw his father conveying a message to him but this was a message from God.
Will this very brief message, hopefully some knowledge has been shared, or the message has been shared that the blog is still alive with continued posting and bigger news expected.
