October the new year month is back again. On the 1st of this month Gospel of God observes and celebrates the New Year, the Birth Day of the Church Founder in 1914, and the establishment of the Church in 1932. Around this time, that is September/October there are also new year celebration in Israel and Ethiopia. It is celebrated on the Seventh Month coming from April. Once upon a time calendars even in Europe had the first month as April – until by coercion clever people changed April 1 was changed to the celebration of fools – and it is called Fools Day to date. Numbers 29:1 recognizes the first day of the seventh month (called Tishri in Hebrew as New Years Day).
Sorry for no pictures of the celebrations, some will surely be posted a year from now.
Besides that, there is an upcoming article on the garden of Eden. Nothing much has been discussed about Adam and Eve on this blog or website, but interestingly almost all emails received have dwelt on the matter. To disappoint some, don’t expect much on the pet subject – about what the fruit or snake was, but there will be lots on the broader story titled ADAM AND EVE: THE BIGGER PICTURE. It would have been up today but there are a lot of competing tasks and writing to be done, so expect the post a week or two.
